An elaborate farm-to-plate Meat Company has begun operations in the Ashanti regional capital ahead of the Christmas festivities.
The Meat Factory, located at Asokwa, near the Municipal Assembly stocks a variety of meat and meat products that have already proven to be the most affordable in the region.
Chief Executive Officer of the Meat Factory; Dr. Fred Bedzrah in an interview with journalists in Kumasi said there is a high protein deficit in the Ashanti region and nation which the Meat Factory wants to help reduce.
In order to ascertain the source of their meat and the cleanliness of their operations, Chief Executive Officer of the Meat Factory; Dr. Fred Bedzrah took a team of journalists to the company’s ranches and other installations within the Ashanti region.
He explained how the Meat Factory raises and processes their animals in a clean environment. “We have resident veterinary Doctors and experts who take excellent care of the animals. Other meat dealers may source their meat from unknown sources but with us, you are sure of wholesome meat” he stressed and called on residents of the Ashanti region and organizations to contact the Meat Factory for all their meat requirements.
Dr. Fred Bedzrah revealed that The Meat Factory has reduced prices far below prevailing prices anywhere on the market as part of a promotion the company is running.
The Meat Factory has over 1,200 cattle in two ranches, catfish ponds, a rabbitry, poultry farms and other facilities housing goats and sheep within the Ashanti region.
