The tough talking Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central, Kennedy Akompreko Agyepong says Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the Minister of Education is the best performing minister in this government.

This view, the maverick politician says is widely held by the generality of NPP members.

Speaking to Paul Adom Otchere on Good evening Ghana, a popular current affairs programme on Metro tv, Mr Agyepong said the Education Minister has done extremely well to have lasted in the most controversial positions in government.

He noted that for the Education Minister to have been spared the agony of teacher strikes and demonstrations mean he has done something marvellous.

“Dr NAPO is the best minister in this government and this view is not shared by me alone but the generality of our party members”, Mr Agyepong stated.

Giving more details, Mr Agyepong posited that the Education Minister has handled issues about teacher agitation nicely so far.

He noted that the Minister had also demonstrated passion and commitment to making the Ministry the most active outfit in the country.

Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the Assin Central MP revealed treats people well and has a firm grip of the challenges of the Ministry of Education.

No wonder, the Kencity Media owner noted that the Minister excites many in the country with his conduct and comportment.

“It is surprising that Dr NAPO has been able to weather the storm in such a controversial area like the Education Ministry and steered the course to make it the most vibrant outfit in government”, the Assin Central MP stressed.

COMMENDATION:
The Assin Central MP disclosed that the Education Minister is the most loved personality in the NPP.

According to him, party members attest to his hospitable nature.

He noted that every member he has met has had words of grace on Dr Prempeh’s person.

Mr Agyepong urged other Ministers to learn the trait of generosity from the Education Minister who also happens to be the MP for Manhyia South.

“I pray members especially ministers and government appointees learn from Dr NAPO so they can make party people feel welcome anytime they come to them”, Mr Agyepong admonished.
