Former Deputy Coordinator of the Ghana Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship Development Agency(GYEEDA), Alhaji Tapsoba is in the custody of Bureau of National Investigations(BNI).
Alhaji Tapsoba was escorted to the BNI headquarters in Accra after armed police and BNI officials stormed his Kumasi residence Monday Morning.
It is not immediately known what triggered the invitation but www.ghanagong.com gathers that the NDC member has spent three days in the custody of the security outfit.
www.ghanagong.com sources say top executive members of the National Democratic Congress have been frequenting the BNI to secure bail for their colleague.
The party is yet to make an official statement on the development.
Mr Tapsoba was last seen in public during the inauguration of committees ahead of the 2020 election in Kumasi.
Other reports reaching ghanagong.com suggest he is being questioned for allegedly threatening a Tiger Eye PI team in Kumasi.
