Celebrated Ghanaian rapper; Sarkodie says he stopped dealing with negativity a long time ago. He says though he used to be vulnerable at the beginning of his career, he learnt to develop a tough skin with time.
“I’ve grown to understand that it’s a part of being great. It’s a matter of whether you are ready for the negativity that come with being big” he said in an interview with Eli Kharis on Rythmz Live on Ghone tv.
He says no one who achieves any feat of greatness comes out unscathed.
Sarkodie spoke on various subjects including his musical Journey, Family & Fatherhood, how he deals with negativity, why he stuck with his choice of location for ‘Rapperholic’ 2018 despite issues previously, what informs his choice of Artistes to work with , his legacy and nation building, Christmas celebration and many more.
He says one word that accurately describes his musical journey is “Passion”. “Without passion, you can’t do this” he insisted.
