Kooko explains to ghanagong.com he was angry because the lawyer in question has sought to dampen his spirits over his musical career for some time now. Kooko explains that the lawyer started off by telling him his language “Bono” lyrics wouldn’t go far. ” He would later ask me whenever we met anywhere whether people buy my music at all”. “When he realised my songs are doing well despite his predictions, he started telling me I just make “stupid” music that does not impact lives positively. I told him he has never made music and hence should desist from his attacks on my songs”. He says he hails from the same town with the man and grew up respecting him but he won’t accept his constant attacks anymore.
Kooko goes on to say that when the Lawyer heard his “Video bi” song that was about to be released, he threatened to take him to court over the lyrics; a statement that infuriated him.
“I then told him I heard he was daft in law school and wondered how he managed to graduate”.
Video bi song explained
Kooko says his video bi song released on the 9th January, 2018, is based on the proliferation of leaked sex videos in the country especially in the tertiary schools. “We see the videos but do not know where these sexual incidences occurred”. “Have you seen Afia schwarzenegger’s leaked video? What did you see? Do you know where it happened?”, he queried.
