Peter kofi Nyamekye is a Ghanaian poet known by the stage name Inkweaver.
This gifted poet has graced countless stages across the country, predominantly in the Ashanti region where he is now based.
Inkweaver is bilingual in his craft, delivering mind-blowing poems in English and Twi. He also does drama.
He had most of his education in the northern parts of Ghana, having studied at Saint Charles Minor Seminary SHS and also attended training college in Tamale. He upgraded to the University where he studied English language.
He is sad that many in Ghana are unable to appreciate poetry and hopes for a change as he believes poetry is a fertile ground for many young people who want to impact lives.
For him poetry is a means of self-expression.
Inkweaver is a member of the Ghana Association of Writers (GAW) – Ashanti Regional branch.
