Former Central Regional Chairman of the opposition NDC; Bernard Allotey Jacobs says he is disappointed with the current executives of the his party; the National Democratic Congress.
Mr. Allotey Jacobs who was speaking on Peace FM’s kokrokoo Wednesday morning said boycotting the Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election was the greatest disservice dealt the NDC by her executives.
He says he endorses former President Mahama’s ‘boot-for-boot comment and believes the NDC should have mobilized men to face the masked men who showed up to wreak violence on innocent Ghanaians at the Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election. “We have fighters in the NDC” he stressed.
“NDC is a revolutionary party and our greatest motto is No retreat, No surrender” he said and adds that “he who fights and runs away, lives to fight another day”.
He lamented that the NDC is losing its form and urged the party’s executives to remember how the founder mobilized the party into being.
An incensed Allotey Jacobs said the NDC, once they have asked for a commission in the past should not hold the nation to ransom by boycotting it like they did the by-election.
“Everybody is coming under the canopy of party vigilantes as an avenue to create jobs for riffraffs”; a situation he says should not be countenanced.
