The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has tasked its youth in the various Tertiary Institutions to do what it takes to ensure that the party recaptures political power come 2020.
Mr. Brogya Genfi, a National Youth Organizer hopeful, tasked the students when he addressed the Tertiary Education Institution Network (TEIN) at the University of Education Winneba- Kumasi Campus (UEW-K) of the party at their general meeting.
He said the NPP and Nana Addo led administration have failed Ghanaians considering the promises they made to Ghanaians during the 2016 elections, and for that matter, the need for the vibrant youth of the NDC like TEIN to rise up to always remind Ghanaians of the incompetence of the economic management of the NPP.
He stated that, the NPP members themselves admitted that, with their uncountable promises made to the electorates during the last elections, they have not delivered anything significant, hence the need for the youth to set their minds on taking back the power given the NPP in the next elections.
He challenged them to participate in all activities of the party, and be visible on social media.
He entreated them to strategically position themselves in a manner that will give them recognition in the party especially as the party is in opposition.
He challenged them to be bold and not allow the NPP to scare them into submission.
